Join us in learning the basics of weaving so that we can one day make the beautiful embroidery circles above! Nancy Taylor, an experienced weaver, will teach us how. Two of her completed circles are shown above.

 

Come and make a design on a bookmark or card, or help prep plates for students at Kids Club to make their own simplified weaving circle. There will be something for everyone!

 

We will meet outside in Inese's Backyard at 10 AM (Behind CRC- feel free to use CRC parking) There will be tables set up, so that we can all stay distanced as we learn and work. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you like. 

 

Materials recommended by Nancy: 

1. yarn

2. Super jumbo tapestry needle

3. 8 inch embroidery circle (for the more advanced project)
