A monthly meeting to discuss books: nonfiction and fiction, old and new. There is usually a monthly book recommendation, but sometimes we choose to just share whatever the individual participants have been reading.

The author, already noted for his books on climate change, presents detailed descriptions of climate variation during the Earth's history, giving context to the current situation.
