Come out and enjoy a fun filled day of captivating treetop adventure. Blacklick's wheelchair accessible Canopy walk offers a 40 foot winding boardwalk that snakes over a one-eighth mile loop. It provides panoramic views of the mature hardwood, buttonbush swamp below, and glimpses of wildlife.

 

Upon arriving at Blacklick, we will lunch in the shelter area. So, please pack a lunch. Following lunch, we

will attend "Amazing Trees", a presentation on the leaves and seeds of common trees found in the parks and what uses they have. After the presentation, we will explore Blacklick's canopy.

 

Transportation will be provided. We will depart from the CRC at 11:00 AM. Please be at the CRC by the said time if you plan to ride the bus.

 

We will be walking outdoors,so please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. We also recommend bringing binoculars/cameras if you have them. The park provides scopes.
